The Council

 

Frampton-on-Severn Parish Council consists of 9 members elected in May 2010 for a 4-year term of office, finishing in 2014.

 

The Parish Council is a third tier authority within the area of Stroud District Council and Gloucestershire County Council.  Parish Councillors strive to look after the best interests of the parish, with their wide range of interests involving:

Churchyards, crime prevention, entertainment, halls, lighting, litter, open spaces, parking places, parks, planning, playing fields, public toilets, rights of way, roadside verges, seats, shelters, signs, traffic calming, transport, greens, etc.

 

Meetings are held monthly at 7.30pm on the first Wednesday of the month, except for August, in The Rowles Room of the Village Hall. There is a period set aside before all meeting for Public Discussion

 

The Annual Meeting of the Parish Council is the meeting held in May to elect officers. 

The Annual Parish Meeting for all parishioners is held on the 3rd Wednesday in April each year.
